A New Era of No Man’s Sky Starts Today with the Waypoint Update

Waypoint offers hundreds of new and improved features and enhancements to improve and enhance the core gameplay.

• Relaxed Mode With a greater emphasis on sandbox rather than survival, new players are more friendly and approachable.
• Survival and ChallengeSurvival is harder for players who already have knowledge, skills and the resources to succeed. 
• Customised Play StyleNew and experienced players can adjust hundreds of game elements to suit their play style.
• SavingsIt is now easier to save games and players can jump in and exit more quickly. 
• Cross Game Mode Play: We’ve changed the way people matchmake. Now you can play with players from other game modes. This means that you’ll see many more players than before and also more bases.

• Information Portal: Returning players who perhaps haven’t been back for an update or two, will find a useful recap informing them of exactly where they were making their re-entry smoother.
• Streamlining20 updates, thousands of bullet points and hundreds of patches notes are all now more integrated into one experience.
• Inventories/Higher Level Caps The inventories have been updated, increasing the cap on your ship, weapon and freighter.
