When you are playing Ship of FoolsThe music takes you to the Archipelago’s inky waters. It has a main theme that is heavily inspired from sea shanties, which echos the cooperative gameplay. The music tracks change and adapt to each level, creating a crescendo in panic that builds throughout the most intense parts. Sure, stopping the Aquapocalypse is a scary prospect, but that doesn’t mean Ship of FoolsIt is truly terrifying! In fact, the game was in pre-production for an extended time to ensure the developers honed a unique art style that carefully walks the plank between cute and weird (which they’ve definitely achieved!) They also avoided any graphical fakery and used 2D characters as 3D meshes to animated them. This allowed them to access the Z axis within the engine. Ship of Fools’Game mechanics are based on art direction in order to make the experience of fighting the giant leviathans deeps as fun as possible.

Ship of Fools: This is a co-op seafaring game in which you are the Fools. These Fools are the only ones foolish enough to venture out into the open sea. The Great Lighthouse which used to protect the Archipelago from evil and corruption has been destroyed.

Ship of Fools is basically a strategy game where you blast your opponents with cannons and defend your ship. Inspired by modern classic roguelites and built for co-op, you’ll want to bring your first mate on deck and enjoy oarsome combat as you unlock new trinkets and artifacts to help you save the world from catastrophe.

You will find hidden treasures on islands in the Archipelago. But be careful! The Everlasting Storm can change your course as you navigate the sector. You’ll need to adjust your course in reaction to storm movements and decide when you can brave a trip to discover what lurks inside the storm.

Ship of Fools lets you solo manage your ship and make your way through treacherous waters. To keep your glory, Ship of Fools also offers multiplayer. As they sing in old sailor songs: it’s sometimes better to have no crew than a dysfunctional one!
