First look: DC’s War for Earth-3 #1 pits Evil Batman against an army

Things are going down in at least one of DC’s alternate universes. Teen Titans, Flash and Suicide Squad are all involved in the War for Earth-3 crossover. They will be facing off against Crime Syndicate, an inverse Justice League led by Superman, Owlman and Ultraman. Task Force X’s Amanda Waller hopes to take over Earth-3. Crime Syndicate plans to counter this. Teen Titans and Flash need one another in the midst of all this. This series should be chaotic and exciting.

Polygon is able to see seven inked pages of the crossover issue, but it will kick off with five issues on March 1st. War on Earth-3#1 was written by Robbie Thompson, the current writer Suicide Squad) and Dennis “Hopeless” Hallum (Star Wars: Vader), with art by Steve Pugh (Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass). It is just as chaotic as you might imagine.
