GTA Online’s The Contract Is Live, New Details Revealed

GTA Online’s new story update, The Contract, is now live, meaning players get to partner up with Franklin to help his new business succeed by helping Dr. Dre – yes that Dr. Dre – out of a jam. Rockstar shared more details about The Contract before you embark on your wild adventure. 

As previously revealed, you’ll be Franklin’s partner in his new business, F. Clinton and Partner, a fixer agency designed to solve celebrity problems. Dr. Dre was the first customer. He lost his phone with unreleased tracks. The Contract introduces MOTOMAMI Los Santes, a multi-genre radio station. Music is at the heart of The Contract. This station features new music from Pusha T, Juicy J and Mike Dean. It even features a “Dre Day” takeover hosted by DJ Pooh that features Dr. Dre’s classic sounds and some special cameos. 

Players can also visit Dr. Dre at his new Record A Studios to hear new songs. Or you can just hang out in the studios’ Writer’s Room with Franklin and Lamar (and the fruits of the latter’s burgeoning marijuana venture). All those who have visited Record A Studios by December 22 will receive a Westside Fitted Cap. 

As for F. Clinton and Partner itself, the multi-floor building features amenities such as an armory and vehicle workshop. Accepting other job opportunities, including high-value security contract work and more difficult off-the-record jobs via the phone, is also possible. One-time bonus of $200K for players who have completed three security contracts by December 22. You will also receive the following information regarding gear and ride:

You can also equip the vehicles at the end of this list with modifications such as machine guns and slickmines. 

Rockstar has added other updates for GTA Online. Expect to receive fewer phone calls, texts, and emails and alerts have been moved to the pause menu’s in-game map. Daily fees for Properties/Businesses have also been lowered. LS Car Meet is now rewarded for fulfilling Auto Shop agreements, customer deliveries, as well as Exotic Exports delivery. As a result, both the Nightclub and Arcade have a larger safe capacity. 

You can get the Contract update free of charge for any version of GTA Online. But, remember tomorrow is the last day GTA Online will remain available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
