Play As The Big Reaper Himself In Newly Revealed Have A Nice Death

The Game Awards has just announced Have a Nice Death as an action roguelite. It gives off serious Death’s Door vibes. Its stunning, hand-drawn artwork gives it an individual personality and makes the game seem a bit more humorous than Acid Nerve. Your role as Death Incorporated’s head honcho is to see that all souls are safe and sound. Everybody needs a little break from time to time. In order to secure a much-needed vacation, you must steer your executive team, the Sorrows, away from their over-enthusiastic spree on Earth. 

The trailer is filled with stunning visuals and chaotic, 2D action. It shows what happens when Death decides to take matters into his own hands.

Early Access for Have A Nice Death will open in March. Developer Magic Design Studios is yet to announce whether or not the game will come to consoles. The studio has not yet released a beautiful death-focused action game. Back in 2019, it released Unruly Heroes, a vibrant adaptation of the popular Chinese tale Travel to the West, on every major platform, giving us hope that the developer’s next project might follow suit. The title will launch in Early Access next year, so we’ll have to wait until then.
