New Marvel MMORPG In Early Development, DC Universe Online To Get Graphics Upgrade And Massive Expansion In 2023

End Global 7, an End Global 7 coop company made up of well-known development studios released a Q3 2021 investor presentation that provided details about revenue and financial gains as well as a pipeline of future IPs. Information packets revealed that Dimensional Ink Studios (the team behind DC Universe Online) is currently working on a new MMO. This time the MMO will feature players dressing up as Marvel superheroes and potential supervillains. While the Marvel MMO is still in development, this announcement is quite exciting. 

The slide, “Exciting Product List for 2022 and Beyond” shows that Dimensional Ink Studios has had a strong year. DCUO is the dominant market player in superhero-based MMOs. This studio’s most beloved title, “Performing near its highest historical annual revenue.” A graphics overhaul is underway, and extensive content expansions are planned for the 2023 release under the “medium-term” banner. 

An unannounced MMORPG is being launched, but it’s under the “longer-term” banner. These are the important points:

• Marvel IP is a massively multiplayer online gaming game
• Dimensional Ink Studios Austin, TX.
• Jack Emmert is currently the leader of DCUO. He was responsible for City of Heroes’ design and management.

We won’t likely get much information about the new Marvel MMORPG for a while. Based on the history of Dimensional Ink Studio, we expect exciting customization options, favorite heroes and villains, as well as raid scenario-based leveling.
