Far Cry 6, FIFA 2022, Back 4 Blood Lead PlayStation’s Top October Downloads, Full Top 20 Revealed

In terms of video game releases, October was an important month. It saw new titles like Far Cry 6, Back 4 Blood, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and more hit the market. It’s no surprise that many of these debuts lead PlayStation’s top downloads for the month of October, either. 

PlayStation today released its top-rated October downloads. Far Cry 6 topped the list in Canada and the United States. FIFA 22 came in second and Back 4 Blood third. On the EU side of things, it’s a touch different: to nobody’s surprise, FIFA 22 was the top download with Far Cry 6 in second and Back 4 Blood in third. 

Below are the top 20 downloads of October for PS5 from the U.S. and Canada.

14. The Dark Pictures Anthology House of Ashes
15. Bridge of Spirits: Kena
16. Diablo II: Resurrected
17. Hot Wheels Unleashed
18. Mortal Kombat 11
19. Black Ops Cold War – Call of Duty
20. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

You can see that a lot of this list includes new titles from October, or titles published late in September. Kena: Bridge of Spirits was released on the 21st of November. Also of note, titles like Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy arrived near the end of October so there’s a good chance some of these titles might appear in the November top downloads list as well. 

The EU top 20 is largely the same, although a few surprises are in there such as Alan Wake Remastered sitting significantly higher at the sixth spot, and the inclusion of Resident Evil Village and Rainbox Six Siege on the list.
