Asus ROG Ally Z1: The cheaper version is now available from Best Buy

The cheaper edition is finally available months after first becoming available. While Asus’ original $699.99 model might have been too pricey for some, this new $599.99 version is a more reasonably priced alternative to Valve’s popular Steam Deck. It’s available exclusively from Best Buy.

Asus takes a different route to produce more affordable versions than Valve. The less expensive Steam Deck versions compromise on screen and storage space, while the ROG Ally version is less powerful, with an AMD Ryzen Z1 processor that uses fewer cores as compared to the Z1 Extreme in the $699.99 version.

The ROG Ally is the cheaper version, but it has the same features and hardware as the more expensive ROG Ally, such as the 120Hz 1080p display, the 512GB SSD, and the compatibility of ROG XG mobile external GPU.

You may feel that $599.99 seems a bit expensive. We can understand.Valve offers a 20% off on the Steam Deck until September 21. The cheapest version is now $359.
