This means that they’ve taken full advantage of the unique capabilities of Xbox Series X|S, both for new titles built natively using the Xbox Series X|S development environment as well as previously released titles that have been rebuilt specifically for the console.

Inside Xbox Series X|S Optimized series, these creators will share the behind-the-scenes accounts of how they’re optimizing their titles for Xbox Series X|S and what that means for the future of gaming. Today, we’ll be chatting with Martin Gauvreau, Lead Programmer and Director at Cococucumber about optimizing Ravenlok for Xbox Series X|S.

Q: Why are you excited about bringing Ravenlok’s world to life with this hardware generation?

The magic world of Disney was one of our most thrilling projects. Ravenlok The Xbox Series X supports 4K and 60fps, while the Xbox Series S offers 1440p and 60fps. Players are treated to much more detail and immersive visuals than previous gen hardware. The 60 fps setting is the maximum. RavenlokThe game runs smoothly, so it isn’t just visually impressive but responsive in real-time battle.

S can do for you? For example, faster loading times and so on.|S for quicker load times etc. S feature were you excited to leverage in Ravenlok’s development?|S features were you most excited to explore leveraging in the development of Ravenlok?

The A-word Ravenlok We wanted to completely immerse our players into the beautiful environments, adorable characters and emotional story. The new performance, power, and capabilities allowed us to take our game levels above and beyond what we had previously been able with. We also managed to stay over the frame rate target and load time. The structure of Ravenlok We used the SSD Technology in the Xbox Series X|S to create seamless transitions between levels. As we know, no one wants to wait for loading screens. We are happy to give players a continuous and immersive gaming experience.

Q: How will these enhancements impact a player’s experience with Ravenlok?

It’s a hit! S and Xbox One X|S, as well as previous gen consoles like Xbox One X, Xbox One S and Xbox One. The Xbox Series X immerses players in the vivid and detailed environments with full 4K Resolution. The Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X both offer smooth gameplay at 60fps. With virtually no loading times, players can enjoy their game in its best visual quality.

Q: What’s it like to have over half a million people playing Ravenlok? 

A: It’s a dream come true for us to have so many people playing Ravenlok on Game Pass. With over 500,000 players in six weeks, this is an incredible milestone and we’re grateful to all Ravenlok players and fans on Xbox. We thank you for enjoying Ravenlok.

A: What made your team decide to prioritize higher frame rates and resolution as areas of improvement for Ravenlok?

The A-word is not enough Ravenlok The game has a nostalgic setting, with the voxel style and fairytale feel. However, it also needs to be balanced, with fast and responsive gameplay. Players can enjoy the 4K resolution and high frame rates. The epic boss battles in Intrafail are an integral part of combat. RavenlokIt’s incredibly satisfying to be able defeat an enormous boss with smooth 60fps.

What do you want fans to think of RavenlokS with these enhancements?|S with these enhancements? A: A lot of what we do on the tech and optimization side is often invisible — when it works, and works well, the player should not notice it at all. Fans will hopefully be immersed into the world of RavenlokWe want to help them fulfill their desire to travel the globe and experience an amazing adventure. S’s tech and features offer a wide range of opportunities for game developers, but also require us to rethink our approach in order to take full advantage of its capabilities.|S open up a lot of possibilities during game development, but they also demand that we rethink some of our previous approaches to make full use of the console’s capabilities. We are always learning and trying new ideas, so it’s incredibly rewarding to see our vision for Ravenlok come to life in ways that weren’t possible before.

A: We as developers are always pushing the limits of our capabilities, both in terms performance and features but also creativity.
