Zakusu Shrine location and walkthrough in Zelda: TOTK

Zakusu shrine is located within Tears of the Kingdom – The Legend of Zelda’s Mount Lanayru.

Our guide will help you find the Zakusu Shrine location, and walk you through the “The High Spring and the Light Rings” shrine quest to collect the chest and The Light of Blessing.

To access the Zakusu Shrine, you’ll need level two cold resistance, and you’ll need to complete the “High Spring and Light Rings” shrine quest.

The Zakusu Shrine can be found within the Mount Lanayru region, but only appears after the “The High Spring and the Light Rings” shrine quest is completed. You can find the exact location of Zakusu Shrine. (3527, -1481, 0168).

How to complete “The High Spring and the Light Rings” shrine quest

1. The Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower is located on the Western side of Hyrule.

2. To find it, head to the west from the Skyview Tower. Spring of Wisdom.

3. Interact with Nazbi, who can be found at the entrance of the Spring of Wisdom, to start the “The High Spring and the Light Rings” shrine quest.

4. Use the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower to take off.

5. Sky Island is located to the south-west of Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower. On this Sky Island, you’ll find an altar similar to one found in front of shrines.

6. The light ring will appear in a cutscene when you interact with the Altar.

7. Grab the shield that’s lying on your left.

8. Use the shield to shield surf through the light rings and down the snowy slope.

9. Paraglide before hitting the ground and continue snowboarding through every light ring. You can choose from a range of seven light rings Sky Island is home to a number of these.

10. Once you’ve successfully passed through all seven light rings, the Zakusu Shrine will reveal itself.

Zakusu Shrine Walkthrough

Zakusu Shrine is a test of your Ascend skill, as it challenges you to fight against countless Constructs. Similar to other “Proving Grounds” challenges, you will not be able to use any of your gear, but instead will receive a couple sticksYou can also find out more about the following: an old wooden shield.

In the “Proving Grounds: Ascension” challenge, you’ll have to defeat five Soldier Constructs and The Captain Construct. An enemy can be found on each tier as you Ascend up the walkways except for the highest floor, where you’ll find the Captain Construct and one Soldier Construct.

When you destroy a construct, use Fuse on it and add their materials to the sticks of your guns to increase attack damage. You can unlock the door once you have defeated all enemies inside. To receive a Soldier IV Spear Finish the shrine and get a The Light of Blessing.
