Vampire Survivors’ Second DLC Weaves an Enchanted Fairy Tale On April 13

Dearest Survivors, we’re hot off our five nominations at last night’s BAFTA Awards, and past me writing this is very hopeful we won (*Editor’s note: Vampire Survivors won two BAFTAs, including best game). Regardless, we’re here today with a lot of good news and just a pinch of bad news.

Thankfully, we’re also here with some very good news to ease the pain. We are just weeks away from our second DLC. We hope you enjoyed your journey to aid the Moonspell Clan in the alps of Japan in our first DLC, because we’re about to send you back to school in the upcoming The Foscari TidesExpanding, launched April 13

An Enchanted Wood Quest

The Foscari TidesOur story will take us through the wooded hills of Western Europe. Our lives were heavily influenced and shaped by folklore and fairy tales, which warn us not to get too close to the foreboding forests.

You will find all kinds of magic beasts and spellcasters in the Great Forest. This is where the border between worlds can be perilously thin. However, those that cross it to find the Foscari Academy are not alone.

You wouldn’t think that parents of the world’s elite would be eager to send their progeny into danger just to get an education, but The Foscari Academy is no mere school. This academy teaches the next generation warriors, scholars and leaders what it takes for them to become masters in their respective fields.

The Academy’s enormous facade tells a tale of generations, with each era putting its own mark on the sprawling building. It is a mix of different styles and influences from all cultures that has produced a unique mosaic.

Like many schools in Western Europe that are traditional, the Academy is split into different houses. The Azure Tower transforms novice wizards into skilled sorcerers, and hedge witches into powerful warlocks. Non-magical people can also learn the arts of diplomacy and natural sciences from this center. The Azure Tower touts the world’s most powerful witches and wizards and its most skilled healers and academics as its alumni.

Crimson Anvil makes brute force into finely tuned warriors. But even those who don’t have the might (or the intestinal fortitude) for battle have much to learn here. Crimson Anvil is a hub for engineering, architecture and demolition.

Finally, there is the Amber Sickle. It’s the place for quiet professions. Accounting, agriculture and animal husbandry are just a few of the noble pursuits. Archery is also included. You may be able to see students practicing spycraft while preparing for their career as an espionage agent. Although students from the Amber Sickle are not well-known, their efforts have been recognized worldwide.

There’s so much more to The Foscari’s Tides, And Some of you don’t have to wait to play it. We’ve sneakily set up our machines at WASD in London this weekend with the new DLC. Some of you might have even played it without realizing. We did warn you that we’re rascals!

Attendees should stop by the booth to take a look at the expansion and to get a feel for one of the characters. Once you’re done, plan your next build for this month.
