Elden Ring Expansion, Shadow Of The Erdtree, Revealed

From Software revealed today that an expansion of the game was in progress just days after Elden Ring’s one-year anniversary. 

The official Elden Ring twitter account revealed the name of the expansion as Shadow of the Erdtree. The expansion is not known much, though those with a good knowledge of the game’s lore and those who have already completed it might be able figure out what the adventure will look like. From Software also released some concept art, which appears to show the expansion. 

It’s easy to see in this tweet: 

Rise Tarnished! Let’s walk a different path together. An upcoming expansion for Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree, is currently in development. We look forward to exciting adventures in the Lands Between.

Fans of Elden Ring will be thrilled to hear this news, however, From Software only confirmed that the expansion was in development and did not provide any release dates or windows. It could take a while until we return to the Lands Between.
