Halo Infinite season 3 trailer shows bandit rifle and shroud screen

You are the best Halo Infinite players on the planet flock to North Carolina to fight over $250,000, developer 343 Industries dropped something for the rest of us: a trailer for the multiplayer shooter’s new season 3.

Halo Infinite’s third season, titled Echoes Within, has been a long time coming. Initially planned for release last fall on Xbox and Windows PC, 343 Industries pushed it back a few months, opting instead to release a so-called “Winter Update,” which included a handful of new maps and features but not the sort of content deluge that typically defines full seasons. (Halo InfiniteEach season has a battle pass of 100 levels, with all cosmetics. However, the Winter Update contained 30 levels.

Echoes Within will include the much-anticipated bandit rifle. It is a single shot weapon similar to the DMR found in Halo. Halo 4And Reach for Halo. This is a smoke bomb that drops beside the shroud screen. Echoes Within is also adding three new maps. Oasis will serve as a big scale map for Big Team Battle, while Chasm (for the four-vs.-4 Arena) serves the purpose.

Three43 also released a beta shortly after the Winter Update was published. Halo Infinite’s Forge mode — a set of creation tools that allow players to design fully customized maps. The Forge level was finally introduced earlier this month. Halo Infinite’s general matchmaking as part of the Community Collection playlist. Four maps — including remakes of totemic levels from Halos past — were added to the initial rotation. Season three will bring more, but the standout is “Art’s Room,” a stage set in what appears to be a teenager’s room in suburbia.

Echoes Inside will be on display from March 7 through June 27. It is the first time that a curated exhibition of poetry has been held in this area. Halo InfiniteSeason lasts only three months
