Here’s every Steam sale date for 2023
Steam offers a wide range of games that you can buy every year. Some of these sales, such as the Mystery Fest, are already in progress. Steam has now announced its full list of sales and fests for 2023, to give everyone “a jump on planning out your year of promotional activities.”
Three types of Steam sales can be broken down: Next Fests, Seasonal Sales and Themed Sales (Fests). Every quarter, there are seasonal sales. Any game can participate. Steam Fests feature themed sales events that highlight a particular game category or theme. They include discounted games and demos as well as upcoming releases and promotions. Next Fests are held three times per year. They highlight new games and offer demos.

- Spring Sale: March 16-24 (major seasonal sales)
- Puzzle Fest: April 24-May 1
- Sports Fest: May 15-22
- Next Festival: June 19-26
- Major seasonal sales: Summer sale June 29-July 13
- Stealth Fest: July 24, 31
- Visual Novel Fest August 7-14
- Strategy Fest, August 28-September 4
- SHMUP Fest: September 25-October 2,
- Next Fest October 9 – 16.
