Pokémon Go Jirachi ‘Wish Granted’ Masterwork Research Tasks and rewards

A set of Masterwork ResearchDropped in Pokémon Go,Rewarding a Shiny Jirachi It is open to all who have completed it. “Wish Granted” is a lengthy set of Special Research made to keep you busy for a while, just like the Johto Masterwork Research from the previous year.

In order to get these tasks, you’ll need to buy the “Masterwork Research: Wish Granted” pass in the shop for $4.99. Although the March 20th deadline is for purchasing this pass, you can start using it immediately after purchase. It makes perfect sense as most of the tasks within the set will take players weeks to complete.

Step 1: Wish granted step 6

Catch 385 Pokémon from the Kanto region (385 XP)
Catch 385 Pokémon from the Johto region (385 XP)
Catch 385 Pokémon from the Hoenn region (385 XP)
Gold Hoenn medal (30 Ultra Balls).

Get Rewards10 Kyogre Candy; 10 Groudon Candy; and 10 Rayquaza Candy

You need to register 90 different Pokémon from the Hoenn region to get the Gold Hoenn Medal.

Step 2: Wish granted step 6

Ten Best Friends (1 Poffin)
One Poffin: Earn 20 hearts in a row with your friend.

Get Rewards3850 XP and 3 Rare Candy

Step 3: Wish granted step 6

We don’t know much about the step due to its 20 day time limit. We’ll update this guide when more steps are revealed.

Masterwork Research ‘Wish Granted’ rewards: Is it worth buying?

Whether or not this research is “worth” buying is almost entirely dependent on how much you value Shiny Jirachi. Shiny Jirachi will be obtained through this method, although other options are available.

Niantic confirmed that the Masterwork Research has been completed. The Wish Granted quest is now open.
