Hi-Fi Rush is Steam Deck verified
Surprise surprise: A hit Hi-Fi RushSteam Deck publisher officially confirmed Bethesda Softworks announced in a tweetThis Thursday. Steam plays the action rhythm game beautifully, and you have handheld support to slash against bosses while on the move. I’ve found that the game plays best with a controller, and I can’t wait to try it out on the Deck.
Tango Gameworks designed this product. Hi-Fi RushThe title was launched at the beginning of January with very little publicity and quickly gained in popularity due to word-of–mouth recommendations. Game Pass also included the title, which means that gamers have no excuse to not try it.
Hi-Fi Rush, you play as Chai, a guy whose iPod is fused into his chest à la Iron Man as a result of a mistake during a robotic augmentation procedure. Chai is now fully in tune with the music — he moves to the beat — but the robots on the Vandelay Technologies campus that he’s trapped in consider him an aberration. The battles he must wage against these foes are set to his playlist which includes familiar tracks such as Nine Inch Nails and Fiona Apple. With stylish cel-shaded visuals to boot, the game reads much like Edgar Wright’s Baby driver Although the dialog has much more to do with Scott Pilgrim against the WorldFrom the same filmmaker.
While other rhythm games may be more precise, Hi-Fi RushTheir magic is now more accessible to a larger audience. No matter what your timing is, Chai can still hit the beat and attack effectively. You can land combos or get a higher post-fight rating by tapping the attack button. It’s absolutely a rush.
