Disney Lorcana’s release date announced; here’s how to get it early

Disney LorcanaThe new trading card game ‘The Traders’ is already selling at crazy auction prices, despite not having the rules released. It will be available for Gen Con attendees as well as local games stores to get first access.

IGN reports Tuesday morning that the friendly store launch will occur in August 18th, USA, Canada and the United Kingdom. It will then be followed by an open retail launch Sept. 1. Those headed to Gen Con in Indianapolis from Aug. 3 to Aug. 6 will be able to buy “select Disney Lorcana products,” IGN said.

There will be more than 200 games cards available at the launch.

Three different Starter decks comprising 60 cards. These decks include Amber and Amethyst, Emerald and Ruby and Steel and Sapphire. Every deck comes with a booster pack that contains 12 random cards. One of these is a foil and the other two are legendary, rare or super rare.
This gift set includes 4 standard booster packs as well as 2 oversized foil cards, 2 foil game cards, 1 game token, and 2 foil foil card games.
The “Illumineer’s Trove” collectible set, including eight booster packs, two deck boxes, a player’s guide, and a storage box.

Lorcana Ravensburger will launch four sets per annum. This summer’s launch is called The First Chapter.

Disney Lorcana The first images were revealed in August 2022. Ravensburger published images of the seven first cards at Anaheim’s D23 convention a week after.
