Xbox And Bethesda Developer Direct Coming Later This Month

Microsoft announced a Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct. This new showcase will give fans an exclusive look at the games that are coming to Xbox, PC and Game Pass in the next few months. 

This Developer Direct will air January 25th and include Xbox studios Arkane Austin (Mojang Studios), Turn 10 Studios (ZeniMax Online Studios), and Mojang Studios. The Developer Direct “will focus on large features, extended gameplay demonstrations and the most recent information for Xbox games that will launch in the next few months,” which includes Redfall, Forza Motorsport and The Elder Scrolls Online. 

Starfield is a large, galaxy-sized missing piece in the lineup. Xbox claims that a Starfield-specific show will be created “to allow for deep diving into the game”. 

Xbox provides detailed information on each game. ZeniMax Online Studios, The Elder Scrolls Online’s main chapter update for 2023, will reveal “the latest regions of Tamriel that are now playable in ESO as well as the major new feature in this game’s largest update this year.” This Developer Direct will be followed by a full ESO Chapter Reveal event. On the Forza Motorsport side of things, Turn 10 Studios will be sharing more gameplay and new details about the game. 

Mojang Studios will present a fresh look at Minecraft Legends’ PvP multiplayer experience. Arkane Austin “showcases several minutes” of Redfall gameplay, both single-player and multi-player. Xbox promises that fans will learn about customizing, fighting, bosses, open world and much more. 

On Wednesday, January 25th at 12:00 p.m. PST/ 3:00 p.m. ET, the Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct will air. ET.
