Battlefield 2042 – Season 03: Escalation is Available Now for Xbox

Well, that’s the Swedish wilderness you can expect to see in Battlefield 2042 – Season 03: EscalationS, starting today.|S starting from today, bringing with it a new specialist, map, weapons, and several quality-of-life improvements along with its availability with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate! Let’s dive into the details.

A new specialist

For you assault players, Zain looks to have everything you’re hoping for. Part of that is thanks to his XM370A airburst rifle that’s designed to clear enemies from cover. Also, he has one of the fastest health refill rates and can quickly recover from injuries after a battle. He is the ideal candidate to lead the offensive on the battlefield because of all these attributes.

Neue Map

Spearhead was inspired by the Swedish wilderness. It has two semi-automated areas to interact in. Inside you can expect to be exchanging gunfire while diving between high tech weaponry and mechanical parts designed for weather machines; outside you’ll navigate across rough terrain and in-between massive rock formations as you take the fight to the enemy.

The latest weapons and vehicles

Four new weapons make their mark in Season 03: Escalation…

• Rorsch MK-4 Railgun: Utilizing an electromagnetic force to launch projectiles at an absurd velocity, the railgun features an underbarrel system with multiple firing modes and is sure to be one the most powerful tools on the field of battle — for those who can master its charging time.
• NVK S22 Smart Shotgun Semi-automatic semi-automatic dual-barreled gun that delivers potent destructive power within a small package
• NVK P125 Bullpup Pistol The long barrel is ideal for engaging enemies at great distances and with precision.
• Tossing Knives With this Battlefield classic weapon, you can quickly take down your adversaries.

Oh, and there’s a new tank…

• EMKV90-TOR TankUsing cutting-edge technology, the EMKV90TOR detects the origin of incoming attacks within a specific range and shows them in your HUD. It’s also capable of shifting into two modes:
  • MobilitySpeed up, throttle up, and you’ll be speeding across the battlefield. You can also unleash chaos along the route.
  • SiegeYou can bring the hurt as you slowly slow down the tank, which will allow for better suspension and faster firing speeds with the turret.

Specialized maps and reworked specialists

Season 03 will see the debut of revised versions of Manifest, Breakaway and other maps. Breakaway and Manifest will be available in December. Breakaway will arrive in January. Specialists will also move into Battlefield’s Class system, bringing with it class equipment and a class gadget. You will see other changes as well.
