ShiftUp’s Project Eve is now Stellar Blade

ShiftUp gave a closer look at its game in development Stellar BladeFormerly known as Project Eve during Sony’s StatYou can also visit e of Play presentation on Tuesday. We last saw the game at a State of Play in 2021, and now we’ve got a clearer look at the gory monster gameplay and the apocalyptic story.

Stellar Blade’s Eve was given a number of grisly, fleshy creatures to murder as she tried to save Xion from destruction.

Here’s how ShiftUp described it on the PlayStation Blog:

Eve and her friends land on the surface of the Earth to claim the extinct Earth. There, they meet Adam the survivor. Adam then leads Eve to Xion. There she is greeted by Orcal, the older of the village, and they share many stories. Eve forms close friendships with key members of Xion in order to fulfill her mission to save Earth and helps rebuild the city.

Eve, on a mission of saving Earth from the NA.tive is faced with the task of helping the citizens in Xion. You decide if you’ll help or against the survivors.

ShiftUp stated that fighting is what ShiftUp believes. Stellar Blade’s combat will be a mix of combos, evasion, and timing — alongside powerful and flashy skills that are “pleasing to the eye,” whatever that means.
