Harvestella free demo available now for Nintendo Switch

HarvestellaSquare Enix has released a brand new simulation RPG called “Life Simulator” on Nintendo Switch, Windows PC and Windows PC via Steam. It will launch on Nov. 4 on Nintendo Switch. The two will combine Stardew Valleylike crop management with the publisher’s signature focus on action and adventure. A free-to-play demo “containing the opening days of your farm’s first season” is available now for Nintendo Switch through the Nintendo eShop. Save data will automatically be transferred to full-game when you buy.

Harvestella players manage plots of land and make friends with the townspeople — you can farm, cook, craft, and sell your produce for a profit. There are two seasons: spring and summer. Fall is winter. You must also fight against Quietus, which can cause dust to take over the city and kill crops. Each year, this fallow period gets longer.

As you play, you’ll explore the game’s vast world, full of cities and dungeons, including Nemea Town, Seaside Town Shatolla, Lethe Village, and Holy Capital Argene. Eventually, players will reach the Seaslight — crystals that control the season. There are many combat classes available, with the main focus on magic and swords (single wielding or dual-wielding). This calamitous season will be overshadowed by the friendships and allies you’ll make.
