Wyrdsong Revealed In Mysterious New Trailer From Something Wicked Games
Something Wicked Games has released its first game Wyrdsong in a trailer. It is the brainchild of developers such as Fallout 4 or The Elder Scrolls V. Skyrim.
This trailer was made available as part of Geoff Keighley’s Gamescom Opening Night Live show. It was brief but packed a lot of fantasy intrigue and mystery.

It’s not a lot to learn, as you can see from the trailer. We did notice one thing that the narration said during the film: “In cracks of reality there exist two lives. One before the shadow, and one behind it.” It sounds spooky.
According to a press release, Wyrdsong “is an occult fantasy historical RPG that is set in fictionalized Portugal during the middle ages.” Wyrdsong sets out to challenge both players and their realities as Wyrdsong expands, questions, and re-defines aspects of current Role Playing Game.
Soon after the trailer was released, Jeff Gardiner (an ex-Bethesda Studios developer with credits in Fallout 76 and Skyrim), posted a Twitter link that takes you to the new Something Wicked Games website.
Gardiner is the CEO and founder of Something Wicked Games. He stated in a press release that “our goal with Something Wicked Games was to use our independent and creative autonomy and create the next generation of open-world RPGs.” Wyrdsong is my dream game, which I am thrilled to share today.
Unreal Engine 5 is also being used to develop the game, according to a press release.
