I Quit My Job to Make Robo Revenge Squad, Now It’s Coming to Xbox!

It’s possible for anyone to do it. Not that I’d recommend it. This was an extremely difficult journey. Here’s a tale about the journey. Robo Revenge SquadIt all came about.

This is Robo Revenge Squad. It’s a co-op twin-stick shooter (or brawler, if you choose melee weapons). My friends and I created it together. We had had experience in gamedev, but quite frankly I’d say this is our first project.

It’s a game we wanted to play together. It’s possible to create your own combat robot from everyday objects and use it in various missions.

The playable version was created and funded. It then went live on PC in an early access mode, which received some interesting feedback. Years later, we have finally the complete version. Not just for PC, but on all platforms, including a multiplayer mode that allows up to 4 players.

Our inspirations were many and I can’t pinpoint anything specific. We simply like the retro futuristic style of 1950s’ Americana mixed with sci-fi. There is a lot of similarity between our robots and the 1950s-era household products as they were advertised.

Pixar’s style is a clear inspiration, particularly in the case of Pixar films. Wall-E. Sure, we saw it and we loved it, but it wouldn’t be right to say it was a major inspiration for us. Maybe subconsciously.

Anyway, we’re here with a game that has its own charm and soul! It’s our Robo Revenge Squad… which wasn’t always known under this title. This was once it Second Hand: Frankie’s Revenge. Why? Frankie, the combat robots. It was changed to make it more powerful.

You can quit your job to make it a career in gaming. You can. It’s gonna be hard. It’s gonna be risky. Are you willing to take the risk? Let’s hope so. It’s my sincere hope that you will enjoy it. This is one of the most reliable game developers.

Robo Revenge Squad is an action-packed co-op game where everyone is a soldier. Use Robos from common everyday objects to defeat alien robots: refrigerators, disco balls, baseball bats, etc.


Your mission: kick metal butts

You can reach your goal by deploying to the area. Does that sound easy? You will encounter big, evil aliens and their bosses. From cranking up carts to destroying dooms towers, there are many puzzles and objectives. You also need to evacuate.

Find a challenge worthy of your attention in missions-based campaigns, which end with boss encounters.


Get ready and discover your personal style

Are you more comfortable with melee or ranged fighting? Do you prefer to rely on special moves or basic attacks? Is your style defensive, offensive or both? You can decide to jump right into action with your friends or alone.

You can take out hundreds of enemy soldiers. Force field activation must be removed. Install explosives. Or even go… fishing?! You must do everything possible to free the planet. And don’t forget to evacuate once your mission is complete!


Unlock tons of parts & cosmetics

Playstyle is the new style! Unlock tons of gadgets from cosmetics to weapons, as well as special devices and other items by leveling up. You can make your Robo unique and personal.

Unlock new stuff for being a fighter, not for microtran– Bleh! We won’t even use that word here.
