Fortnite Chapter 3 season 3 brings Darth Vader & the return of Ballers

This is the final phase. Fortnite Chapter 3 season 2’s Collision event is over, a new season has begun. Chapter 3 season 3, which is called “Vibin’,” starts Sunday with a brand-new battle pass and familiar mechanics returning from the vault.

This new battle pass includes tons of original designs and Darth Vader as the final reward. Players will soon be able unlock Indiana Jones cosmetics through completing quests.

Snap is the collectible cosmetic of this season. It’s a snap-like costume that can be mixed and matched as you locate his limbs around the globe.

The map will also change and get a new forest biome called Reality Falls, which is filled with “bouncy mushrooms, trees of purple, waterfalls, loot-filled caverns, and geysers players can spring from,” according to Epic Games. Saplings can be grown and harvested by the Reality Tree to earn loot.

You can jump onto wildlife, like wolves or boars, to ride them. Or you can hop in to Ballers (a hamster-like vehicle which allows players to roll and grapple around the map), to get into a Ballers. In Season X, Ballers were reintroduced as buoyant vehicles powered by a single battery. Once that battery drains, the ride’s over.

New weapons like the Designated Marksman Rifle — which has a range “between an Assault Rifle’s and Sniper Rifle’s” — will make their debuts, while many of the guns that showed up last season will go back into the vault.

Season 3 should last approximately three months, making Vibin’ the perfect summertime theme for it.
