Resolve in Rogue Legacy 2, explained
The confusing, but essential stat of Resolve in the United States is Rogue Legacy 2This limits how many Relics can you carry. Our Rogue Legacy 2Resolve guides explains what Resolve does and how you can improve it.
What’s Resolve?
Resolve is the little stat next to the white glowing flame in the top left corner of your screen and it represents your Heir’s confidence in their own abilities. Higher stats indicate more confidence.
The non-lore meaning is that your Heir’s Resolve goes down the more you have equipped between armor and Relics.
A lower Resolve will result in Max HP being reduced by your Heir. Start the game defaulting to 225% resolve
Resolve: What is it?
The skill tree upgrade Psychiatrist can raise your starting Resolve. There are also many other upgrades that improve passively affected Resolve such as armor weight or Relic Resolve costs.
Exercising excessive armor can directly reduce your Resolve. You also risk picking up Relics which usually have a cost. The closer your character is to holding their max weight in armor, the less Resolve they’ll have.
That being said, you’ll need to figure out how to accommodate your playstyle accordingly without compromising too much Resolve.

It may not be worth cutting your Resolve below 100 if you don’t get attacked often enough to gain extra abilities that will help you solve problems and clear spaces. However, if you’re damage-prone, you might want to focus on armor to help reduce your HP loss.
