Nintendo Switch Online adds Sonic Spinball in trio of new Sega Genesis games

Nintendo Switch Online subscribers who purchased the Expansion Pack tier on Thursday got three Sega Genesis games with their monthly subscription Sonic The Hedgehog Spinball, Shining Force IIAnd Space Harrier 2. This new injection of Sega 16-bit Sega software has brought the total number of Genesis games that are available via a Nintendo Switch Online + Extension Pack subscription up to 25.

Sonic The Hedgehog Spinball — colloquially known as Sonic Spinball — is an adventure in which Sonic flips, bounces, and launches through Dr. Robotnik’s pinball table-themed fortress as he collects the Chaos Emeralds and saves the people of planet Mobius from enslavement. Sonic The Hedgehog SpinballSega Technical Institute in America developed the game. It was inspired by the casino-style Sonic the Hedgehog levels.

Shining Force IIIt is a tactical, RPG-based adventure that features fantasy. The players play as Bowie the Squire and fight against the Shining Force, a powerful group of demons called… Gizmos.
