Bandai Namco Confirms Digimon Survive’s July Release Date

Earlier this week, a leaked release date of July 29 for the long-awaited Digimon Survive made the rounds on social media. Bandai Namco has made the official announcement.

Kazumasa habu from Digimon Survive confirmed July’s release date in a short video message. This is likely to be the global release, as pre-orders have been placed on the retail sites. Below is his message. 

Digimon lovers have been waiting for this confirmation since 2018. Survive first appeared in 2018, with a 2019 release window. Turn-based strategy games feature a group comprising teens and Digimon friends who discover their way to Digimon’s Digital World during school camping trips. This gang is led by Takuma Momozuka, a goggle-wearing protagonist, and Agumon, his friend. Watch the English teaser trailer for “The Last Guardian” here. 

Digimon Survive will now be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One Switch and PC.
