Cookie Run: Kingdom April Fools’ Shroomie update: fan art and hot characters

A new April Fools’ Day update shakes up Cookie Run: Kingdom By turning the cookie characters into humanoid forms. The new “Shroomie Shenanigans” update is available now in the free-to-play town-building game on mobile devices.

Devsisters said that Shroomie Shenanigans is available from April 14 to the public. Poison Mushroom Cookie will be the star of this event and will reward you with Shroomies for completing tasks within the game. Shroomies can be fed to characters and will change their appearance.

The results are hliarious — many of the cookies take real-life inspirations to make a joke. Tiger Lilly gets an alternate artwork with a realistically drawn Tiger behind her. Espresso Cookie is transformed into abstract art. This is how a Twitter fan found the art within the game.

This is Dark Choco Cookie who transforms into a monstrous creature:

Polygon shared the gallery with Devsisters.

The core of the Cookie Run: KingdomFandom involves drawing fan art, and even imagining what different Cookies might look like. (Even we at Polygon haven’t been able to resist the inevitable charms of the Cookies.) It’s one thing to see this kind of art on Twitter, but seeing it show up in the game feels somewhat like a fever dream.
