The first League of Legends book is called Ruination, stars Kalista

An original set within the universe of League of LegendsAn announcement by publisher Orbit said that the book was on its way. It is called Ruination, and it tells the story of champion Kalista — an undead wraith and the embodiment of vengeance — chasing down betrayers with her spectral spears, an army of sacrificed spirits. You can read the entire article here Ruination, we’ll get to see the alive version of Kalista, a general and niece to King Viego.

Through in-game lore, the tale of Kalista Viego and Queen Isolde was told before. Viego is currently the principal antagonist. The Ruined King is a League of Legends StoryThis is a stand-alone role-playing game and last year’s in-game Ruination event. However, the novel looks like it will explore the circumstances leading up to the historic event on the Blessed Isles — now the terrifying Shadow Isles — and Kalista’s life before her transformation.

Card game Legends of RuneterraShe has provided additional lore about Kalista and her partner Ledros (another forsaken Shadow Isles wraith). Ledros is committed to ending the curse of the Isles and freeing Kalista, so we’ll likely learn more about this fan-favorite character.

It is not yet known when the release will occur. Ruination. Anthony Reynolds is the principal writer for Riot. Riot and Netflix joined forces to publish the novel at 2021’s end. ArcaneThe animated series “Animated Runeterra” is available.
