Returnal’s Ascension Update Coming Later This Month, Features Co-Op

Have you ever wanted to take on the Returnal challenges with a friend. It’s possible now. Players can now play the entire Returnal game in co-op mode, thanks to the Ascension Update on March 22. The entire journey. The Tower of Sisyphus will also be updated. This content is not available in co-op. The new location is full of dangers and tribulations. We don’t yet know the exact contents of the Tower. However, we can assume it will have some randomization elements and perhaps some new story beats and enemies.

After obtaining Icarian Grapnel, which is the second boss, it appears that you can get to the tower quite early in the game.  I’m not sure which is more exciting – the prospect of bringing in a friend to take on Returnal with or tackling new Returnal content! We’ll just say that it’s amazing to see Returnal get new content so late in the game. Perhaps the teamplay might even encourage some players to join the haunting world Atropos.
