8BitDo announced the Xbox Arcade Stick, coming June 30 for $119.99
8BitDo brings its Arcade Stick for Xbox. This first Xbox licensed wireless arcade stick works on Xbox Series X as well Xbox One and Windows PC. It’s available for pre-order now for $119.99, and 8BitDo plans to launch it on June 30. The 8BitDo launch is planned for June 30, 2018. Street Fighter 6Today, we launch our new website. Tekken 8 coming at some point, you’ll have no shortage of big fighting games to play with it.
The fightstick is designed to serve as a good entry-level product, but it also has many buttons and features that may appeal to experienced fiddlers. In addition to replicating the Xbox controller’s face buttons, it has LSB and RSB buttons (replicating clicking in the left or right analog stick), a toggle switch to choose whether the stick is mapped to the left analog stick, right analog stick, or to the directional pad.

After plugging in the included 2.4GHz wireless adapter, which can plug into either your Xbox or computer, you can use it wirelessly up to 30hrs per charge. Alternatively you can connect it to a wired network for a better latency. For audio passthrough it features a standard 3.5 mm plug for headphones and headsets.
Like 8BitDo’s previous Arcade Stick for Switch and PC that’s still available for a lower $89.99 price, this one’s buttons can be customized within the company’s Ultimate software. It can also be disassembled to allow you to modify its parts. It supports 30 mm and 24 mm buttons, and its joystick mounting plate supports “virtually every arcade stick ever made,” in 8BitDo’s words, including Sanwa and Seimitsu hardware.
