There are many new areas for Link to explore and collect weapons, items, and even new powers to enable him to create machines that will help him traverse Hyrule.

If your inventory is already full, you can swap the loot from the chest for an item in your inventory when Link opens the chest. If your inventory is full, you can swap out the loot in a chest with an item from your own collection. Breath Of The Wild. If you want the item in the chest you have to drop it, close the chest and open it up again. It’s a small change, but I appreciated it because my inventory is generally full, and it saves the hassle of reopening the chest.

Sort materials according to how frequently you use them

Even early in the game, your collection will grow as you travel through Hyrule. As you progress through your adventure in Hyrule, you will amass a collection of objects. Breath Of The WildIt is possible to collect around 220 items or weapons. Safe to say, you’ll be dealing with a lot of options between different items in Tears Of The Kingdom.

Developers have created an easy shortcut for finding the right item on-the-fly or to throw. You can choose to sort your list of items in three different ways. This includes how frequently you use the item, the Fuse attack strength, and the type. I like to sort it according to most-used. That way, commonly used items, like brightbloom seeds, don’t get lost in the shuffle.

Drop weapons directly from quick-change weapon screens

There are many combat situations on the battlefield. Tears Of The KingdomRequire quick thinking. Developers have made it easy for players to throw unwanted weapons away while they run around. Now you can easily drop your weapons, shields and bows from the quick equip menu. You can now drop weaker weapons and pick up stronger ones on the battlefield.

Tears Of The Kingdom now has recipes so you don’t need to look up a list of ingredients online to cook a specific elixir or meal. All you have to do to unlock a new recipe is prepare a specific dish. After you do that, you can go to the materials inventory, select an ingredient, and choose “select for recipe” to view what you need to make a dish.

Mobile cooking pots

The portable pot is the most impressive Zonai invention. You can use it to cook anywhere and you don’t even need to set up a fire. Each portable pot can only be used once, but they’re easy to get. They were easy to get after I used the Zonai machine’s Device Dispenser on the first island. It’s a huge quality-of-life fix that allows you to whip up a few meals to carry you through a tough fight on the fly.
