343 Industries Releases New Look At Glow-Up Of The Year Winner Craig The Brute

Microsoft and 343 industries revealed the Last year, Halo Infinite’s first campaign gameplayIt was met with much criticism and Craig the Brute was the focal point of all of it.

Craig at the time was an ordinary brute. Poor Craig thought he would just stand around guarding an outpost and not do anything. Craig was earning money to put food on the table for his family, and then one fateful day, Spartan 117, aka Master Chief, came knocking, and the brute had to get absolutely wrecked by him. Craig was the center of controversy regarding his gameplay show. People thought that he wasn’t looking great.

Craig, as can be seen in the photo above is looking amazing. Craig ditched his shaved-head look for a mini mohawk and even got a beard. As indicated by his new face paint and armor, Craig’s received a promotion too – as he should have after seemingly surviving a fight against Master Chief. Look, are we still going to absolutely wreck Craig’s entire day when Halo Infinite comes out on December 8? We can be happy for Craig’s glow-up, yes.

When asked about Craig, Halo Infinite combat director Steve Dyck said that the team had a “love-hate relationship” with Craig. Craig was a great community member, but he also represented systems and content that weren’t ready to be used in the demo. Craig’s positive impact was that he helped us gain more time for work, and got us to a point where we were happy as Brutes.
