Amazon’s Lord of the Rings TV show has purportedly gone separate ways with prestigious J.R.R. Tolkien researcher Tom Shippey, one of the world’s most learned specialists on the creator and his works.

This data originates from another Tolkien researcher, Corey Olsen, who said during a Livestream (through TheOneRing.net) that Shippey revealed to him that he’s not, at this point included.
