World of Warships: Legends First Update of 2022 is Now Live

Regia Marina continues to grow in power! Early Access features a new line of Italian battleships, with four heavy-gun ships onboard. Francesco Caracciolo’s 15-inch (381mm) guns are the top of it at Tier VI. There’s more to support the unleashing of those huge, armored monsters: release of flexible Tier VI Premium cruiser Gorizia, return of rare Tier VII battleship Roma for Global XP, and a selection of discounts for Premium Italian ships of various tiers. Keep an eye out for Tier VI Vittorio Veneto which will be available in the next update. This is to help mark the branch’s researchable status.   

Third wave of Azur Lane collaboration

The collaboration with Azur Lane is back, and it starts February 7. This range features six brand new Commanders, all with distinctive voiceovers.

• Sakura Empire/Japan – Azuma Shoukaku, Yukikaze
• Avrora
• Sardegna Empire/Italy: Littorio

Littorio for Sardegna Imperial and Avrora For Northern Parliament broaden the selection to include new factions. The Commander spectrum includes all types of ships. Yukikaze can be used to command destroyers while Montpelier, Azuma and Avrora excel at commanding cruisers. Littorio, a battleship-dedicated Officer, is responsible for the aircraft carriers.

There’s more themed content to choose from: three new ships with the likes of Montpelier and Avrora cruisers, and Yukikaze destroyer, and three fascinating-looking skins for Shoukaku, Roma (the Littorio one) and Azuma are reinforcing the selection as well!

Azur Lane Avrora is the famed Soviet/Northern Parliament cruiser. This bundle includes a bonus flag and a mission for the free Commander of the same title.

Pride of Prussia Campaign

Brandenburg, a powerful German battleship, is the center of 2022’s first campaign. She is close to Bismarck class, but she has more guns for main and secondary batteries. Admiralty Backing can be picked up and taken to the ship within 5 weeks. She will then reach 100 milestones. There’s an abundance of in-game items of all sorts and colors scattered on the way to get the ship, waiting to be picked up. These include camos and doubloons as well as crates.

Divisions across platforms

What about playing for different consoles with friends? This no longer has to be a factor in dividing your friends! You can now divide with them regardless of their platform and you can add any Legends player to your friend list. This is also cross-platform! It is important to note that the Divisions include as many players as possible.

Ranked duels

What happens when you play Legends alone, with no teammates? Do you have a unique skill in dealing with one-on-1 situations? You can have your pick of Ranked battles, which offer five new Ranked battles seasons. These are 1v1 duels that take place for ships of all Tiers, from III through VII. The season’s results are used to award prizes, including crates and Commander Progression Items, Steel, as well as other in-game goods.

Lunar New Year celebrations

It’s going to be a beautiful Year of the Tiger. The Courage skin of Loyang, and Fury skin of the Pan-Asian cruiser Huanghe of Tier V are both exemplary examples of this! To spice things up, the Southern and Eastern Dragon ships will also be making a return. Tier VII Premium Pan Asian destroyer Loyang makes a return, which is possible for a standard 750,000 global XP. Huanghe will be the first to experience a Pan-Asian cruiser at a higher level. Her unique gameplay is complemented by the Smoke Generator consumables and Torpedo Reload Booster consumables. She also has flexibility.
