Netflix releases new trailer of Space Force season 2

Netflix just released a trailer. Space ForceThe office comedy by The Office’s Greg Daniels and Steve Carrell. Fans of the show get a first look at General Mark Naird’s (Carrell) and Dr. Adrian Mallory’s (John Malkovich) lives since season one.

Despite Naird’s attempted escape following his arrest for insubordination, the dysfunctional status quo of Space Force doesn’t appear to have changed all that much. Naird is now under new leadership and his team has to prove that the Space Force can fulfill its mission of militarizing outer space within just four months.

There’s lots of silliness, with Mallory gleefully scaring his colleagues with a shock video and an appearance by Patton Oswalt as an lonely astronaut speaking with the Space Force ground crew via satellite, but no mention of the astronauts stranded on the moon following season one’s cliffhanger ending. We are hopeful that Naird, Oswalt and the rest of his crew will make it happen. Things were getting very dire when we last saw them.

Season 2 Space ForceOn Netflix, the premiere will be Feb. 18.
