Update: Free Burritos Not The Source Of Roblox’s Ongoing Outage

Up-to-date: Roblox remains unplayable and we don’t yet know when. However, we know that free burritos do not have anything to do offline. Roblox Corporation was the one to blame for jokes about Roblox being killed by burritos. TwitterIt will update the community which currently has over 43.2 active users each day.

“Still making progress on today’s outage,” the tweet reads. “We’ll continue to keep you updated. Again, our apologies for this delay. This outage is not connected to specific partnerships or experiences on the platform, as we know.”

The message does not apply to the Chipotle promotion and leaves Roblox fans in complete darkness about what’s happening with the beloved game. Roblox’s website also is down. The only thing that appears on it is a static image that says, “We’re making everything more amazing.” Keep checking back.

We are hopeful that Roblox Corporation will soon provide information on the current state of the game, given the length of the outage. Players are heavily invested in this game – either with worlds they created or money they’ve sunk into it just to play. Let’s hope it returns soon. It’s rare to see games offline so long.

Roblox announced that it is working with recovery teams to restore access for some users who were taken offline last night. It’s our hope that it will be back up soon to allow us all to see the wild promo. The game reminds us of the bizarre Sneak King Burger King game. Roblox players may dress up as Chipotle characters and navigate the maze.
