Wild Card Football Recreates Legendary Players as a Pre-Order Bonus

Wild Card Football is the latest entry in Saber’s Playground Sports franchise. Today we are excited to share more information about this game, as well as kick off pre-orders with four legendary players!|S and Xbox One, and today we’re excited to tell you more about the game and kick off our pre-orders by debuting four legacy players taking the field!

Wild Card Football brings Legends to life

The moment we started, it was clear that this is what we were going to do. Wild Card Football It is time to honor some of the most influential legacy players in the history of football. Who better than the four running backs Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, and Dan Marino to represent them? Four champions who have dominated the charts for the past decade are the four most outstanding players in the history of the NFL. They also represent the unwavering devotion to the game and the team that they bring.

We are football enthusiasts, so it’s important to us that we faithfully recreate the legends of the game in a manner which truly highlights their unique talents. Players can throw darts with “Dan the Man” Marino, reel in touchdowns with Jerry “World” Rice, high-step into the end zone as Walter “Sweetness” Payton, and juke past defenders with the electrifying Barry Sanders.

The launch-day outfits for every legacy player are also available to all preorderers. It’s been fun to recreate their uniforms from the different eras, adding a whimsical twist. There’s a lot of really stylish uniforms in Wild Card Football, but adding some that touch these different time periods with our Playgrounds flare creates an aesthetic that’s both familiar but also distinctly one-of-a-kind to our game.  Of course, if these aren’t your style, there are still plenty of outlandish outfits to choose from, alongside some more traditional football uniforms as well.

The game has been lacking the fun and fast-paced action that is so important to us. Want to use a power-up and call down some UFOs to abduct your opponent while they’re trying to run free to the end zone? You got it! You want to transform into a rocket to propel yourself towards the running back in order to make a tackle? Yep, that’s in there. You can turn into a giant, or use an ice breath to freeze your defense. Also, we have that! How can you accomplish all this? How? With our brand-new Wild Cards, of course!
