XDefiant Open Beta Launches June, Full Game Later This Summer
XDefiant, after a series closed beta testing periods is now ready to be tested in public. Announced during today’s Ubisoft Forward, the series-spanning mashup shooter will enter into a brief open beta period later this month, from June 21-23. The beta will run on PC, Xbox Series X/S/PS5, and PlayStation 5.
XDefiant is set to release in the summer. Ubisoft has not yet announced a release date for the free-to play game, but they have given us an idea of what will be included in its early stages. At launch, the game will include all content from beta testing. The launch will include 14 maps, five modes and 24 weapons. You’ll also be able to play the game’s 5 factions: Libertad (the main one), Phantoms (the second), Echelon and Cleaners. However, you will have unlock Deadsec by playing. Also, we got to see some of the new content that will be coming out in the first year. The game will have 12 new weapons, 12 new maps and four new factions. Only a few silhouettes or a new XDefiant design can reveal the identity of each faction.
