Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Devastated Settlement orb puzzle solution

It is important to note that the word “you” means “you”. Star Wars Jedi Survivor mission “Research Tanalorr” is broken into two segments: one on KobohOne on Shattered moon. During the Koboh portion of the mission, you’ll have to solve a puzzle in the planet’s Devastated Settlement. It’s a bit of a stumper, requiring you to manipulate orbs into laser beams (formally called Koboh Tuner Beams) across three parts. Here’s how to solve it.


Part one of the Devastated settlement orb puzzle solution

Once you’ve defeated the droid and shimmy into the gap in the wall to Force Pull it, Giant crateThe ledge is a good place to start. Koboh Tuner Beam.

Then, Force Push twice the switch located in the middle of the room. It will eliminate any weird brambles that are covering the walls on either side. Then, return through the same crack. Jump up to the ledge where the laser is located using the giant box. (Completionists, you’ll find a Force echo in the corner.)

Remove it orbJump down while holding onto the Koboh Tuner Beam. Orb the orb and throw it into the glowing light blue The bramble that is no more was once behind this now decomposed tangle.

Jump up onto the platform below the socket where you have just inserted the orb. To get on the other side, shimmy through the wall. Take the orb and jump to outside. Toss orbs into the orbs. laser beam slotAt the edge of a cliff.

Final step: Aim the laser at the dark purple rock halfway across the gap and keep it still. Copy this for visual reference:

Part two of the Devastated settlement orb puzzle solution

The second part of Koboh’s Devastated Settlement orb puzzle is far and away the most complicated. Beat the two Gorocco. It’s a good idea to have one confuse the other and attack it. Then, use the Force to pull the item out of the cracks. orbThe laser beam is a powerful tool.

You will see a small ledge. Scale it. In the next room, you’ll get the Koboh GrinderUpgrade for BD-1 that lets you spray the tiny guy Koboh Matter (which you’ll learn is the name for that dark bramble stuff), allowing you to extend the reach of Koboh Tuner Beams. Grab the orb and throw it to the Koboh Tuner that you first obtained it. (See two photos up.) Use BD-1’s new ability to connect Koboh Matter to the mass of matter bramble on the left, then do the same to connect it to the mass of matter on the right.

Scale the wall that’s revealed. You’ll find a Force echoThe a Force essence. Grab the orb and throw it in the The wall.

Walk back out and insert the Koboh Tuner into the wall run. Aim it at the central spire of the lava valley. For reference, copy the screenshot:

The relter will take you into the air current and cross the chasm.


Part three of the Devastated settlement orb puzzle solution

This third piece of the Devastated Settlements puzzle is a bit tricky. The third part of the Devastated Settlement puzzle poses a catch-22. orbThe orb must be placed in a room with a power source. When you take the orb out, the door is closed and locked. You can leave by shimmying through a crack in the wall, but you can’t bring the orb with you. It is possible to force pull the orb. The giant box so it’s in position to prop the door open, like so:

Take the orb and return to the room you started in. Then, drop it into the Koboh Tuner.

Look left, and use BD-1’s Koboh Grinder to spray Koboh Matter to the mass over the gap in the wall. You’ll find a Force essenceThe Precision bonus is available to you if (and only if) you purchase both the Precision Bonus and an Force echo.

Drop the block before the beam. Use the Koboh Grinder and spray the matter to cover the entire front wall of the room. The orb will then be able to be carried to the Koboh Tuner. The drill is: aim the laser on the central spire. Here’s the screenshot:

To complete the Devastated Settlement Puzzle, glide across the chasm one final time with the relter.
