Tekken 8 reveals more of its roster at The Game Awards 2022

Bandai Namco Tekken 8The Game Awards revealed that the game’s next installment, “The Game Awards: The Next Game in Our Flagship Fighting Franchise”, will be presented on Thursday. It features fighters Paul Phoenix King, Law Lars, Jack-8 and Jun Kazama joining Jin and Kazuya. This trailer gives a glimpse of the dramatic, yet destructive story that lies ahead.

The Tekken Team first teased Tekken 8 at this year’s Evo fighting game championship series. A trailer featuring mainstays Jin Kazama & Kazuya mishima, fighting in traditional Tekken style but with remarkable fidelity, was revealed the official game’s existence in September.

Tekken 8It will be available on PlayStation 5, Windows PC and Xbox Series X.

This was the previous installment in this franchise. Tekken 7First released in arcades in 2015, it was then brought to consoles two year later. Bandai Namco supported its fighting game with four seasons’ worth of new characters and stages, culminating with the release of its apparent final DLC character, Lidia Sobieska, in March 2021. This game had a tremendous success rate. Tekken 7To date, it has sold over 9,000,000 copies. according to series producer Katsuhiro Harada.
