The Winter Soldier And Cloning Lab Omega-Level Threat Hit Marvel’s Avengers Later This Month

Crystal Dynamics revealed today that both the Winter Soldier and Omega-Level Cloning Lab threats will be hitting Marvel’s Avengers in the coming weeks. 

More specifically, both this new hero and this endgame raid-like experience will be available when Update 2.7 goes live on November 29. Update 2.7 will feature “continuing revisions and tuning of heroes.” [the studio] started in 2.6.” 

The blog posts states, “This Omega Level Threat is a new endinggame challenge that headlines by a climactic confrontation against the deranged genius in order to end the danger once for all.” The Lab is an AIM base where players must navigate, before they face MODOK one more time in a great multiplayer fight. MODOK is a new tactician since players faced him in San Francisco. The Lab will be used to challenge our heroes in the new 4-versus-1 fight.

Cloning Lab, an OLT is intended to propel a team consisting of four heroes of high rank, but it will still be as accessible and long as Family Reunion. Cloning Lab entry requires Power Level 175 [and]Both new and high-level gear will receive greater rewards than ever, with the power level cap rising to 185. 

Scott Porter, Scott Porter’s voiceover for James Buchanan Barnes “Bucky”, will add the Winter Soldier to Update 2.7.Friday Night Lights, Lego Marvel’s Avengers 

The blog entry states that “He brings to the roster an almost entirely assault-focused hero who is focused on doing damage to his adversaries in a variety if ways.” The blog post states that players will have a variety of playstyles for this character. They can choose from a ranged marksman or an elite hand-to–hand combatant to the deadly super-soldier. There are some echoes of Bucky’s former training partners, Captain America and Black Widow. However, he has created his own move-set and combined these with his skills from the Winter Soldier indoctrination as well as his cybernetic enhancements. 

Crystal Dynamics promises that players can find new animations, new skill-trees, and other heroic abilities as they take on the role of Winter Soldier. The hero will have his own heroic mission sequence that sees him “see the Avengers help his confidence in himself and his ability to do good” after he is released from captivity. The iconic Bucky outfit will be awarded to players for completing this mission chain.
