Pandemic is getting a Star Wars: The Clone Wars spin-off this September
Z-Man Games and Publisher Asmodee announced Monday that the Pandemic System’s latest board game was now available. Star Wars The Clone Wars, A Pandemic System GameTarget will release the exclusive online version of ‘The Killer,’ on September 19, while select retailers worldwide will offer it in October.
Set during events Star Wars: The Clone WarsTelevision series. The game requires players to defend the Galactic Republic as Anakin Skywalker (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Ashoka Tano and Anakin Taney, along with other legendary Jedi, against the intrusions of the Separatist forces.

Built using Z-Man Games’ cooperative Pandemic System mechanics, players will choose from a selection of seven Jedi, each with their own unique Force abilities. Four epic scenario scenarios will be presented to players, where they must work together in order to defeat Dark Side adversaries like General Grievous and Count Dooku.
This new Star Wars-based spinoff comes in the wake of Z-Man Games’ previous World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich KingA spin-off from the Pandemic System franchise that was launched last November. Pandemic, or the Pandemic System as Z-Man refers to it, is a cooperative game that was first released in 2008. It is based on four different diseases that have erupted around the globe, one threatening a particular region. Each crisis can be solved by up to four participants. There are some core concepts to the games, including a deck with cards that is filled with random challenges. Popular, Pandemic System games are wildly popular. There have been several spinoffs, such as the dice-based Pandemic System game in 2014. Pandemic: The Cure and 2016’s Pandemic and the Reign Of Cthulhu.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars – A Pandemic System GameTarget in the U.S. will sell it online for $59.99, and other retailers will carry it on Oct. 1.
