Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 details from COD Next

Activision presented their latest Call of Duty presentation, on Thursday. It included new information about the series and details about the company’s future plans. Modern Warfare IIThe sequel free-to-play battle-royale is also available. Warzone 2.0. One of the most significant announcements was the date of release. Warzone: Call of Duty 2.0, will be released Nov. 16 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC via Battle.net, Steam, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.

Warzone 2.0 – Call of Duty

Warzone 2.0 is a massive new sequel to Call of Duty’s tremendously popular battle royale shooter. Warzone 2.0Al Mazrah will feature a new map, which combines the best of desert combat and sprawling cities. Al Mazrah includes a variety of new locations and points of interests to discover, as well as a brand new version of Warzone’s Gulag, which will require players to fight their way out in 2v2 matches. There are a couple of new mechanics in the new Gulag, such as a prowling warrior and scattered weapons all over the map.

This game introduces an innovative twist to the battle royale format with multiple circles that run across the map. These will separate players and then eventually bring them back together in climactic fights.

Like the original, Warzone 2.0The weapons included in this package will include every weapon from Modern Warfare 2 – Call of DutyIt will be available on Oct. 26 and will include cross-progression.

Infinity Ward shared new details during the Next presentation Modern Warfare II’s multiplayer mode, and how it differs from previous Call of Duty entries.

One of Modern Warfare II’s standout new features is the Loadout 2.0 system, which builds on Infinity Ward’s weapon customization from 2019’s Modern WarfareThis system allows players to personalize their weapons and group the various arsenals based on weapon platforms. It will be a part of Warzone 2.0This gives players greater customization options.

Modern Warfare II will also update Call of Duty’s multiplayer formula in a variety of ways, with refined sprinting, swimming, and mantling. There are also some bigger additions such as third-person multiplayer playlists and the return to cooperative Spec Ops. Also, AI players can be placed on extra-large maps or modes.

Infinity Ward also mentioned two new modes called Raids and DMZ, but didn’t go into detail on them during the presentation.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Beta

This was already known. Modern Warfare II had a beta on the way, but during Call of Duty Next, Infinity Ward let players know some of the features that they could expect from the game’s brief testing period.

Along with the game’s regular six-versus-six mode, the beta will also include the Ground War mode, which will pit two teams of 32 players each against each other and take place inside some of Warzone 2.0’s points of interest. Beta includes Sarrif Bay Ground War and 3 core multiplayer maps, Valderas Museum and Farm 18 and Mercado Las Almas.

Some of these will be included in the beta. Modern Warfare II’s new tactical modes like Knockout and Prisoner rescue which give teams limited respawns. Itre’s also a new mode called Invasion where 32-player teams face-off against each other in a deathmatch, along with numerous AI combatants.

The Modern Warfare IIBeta begins for PlayStation 4 players who have pre-ordered it. It will be available on other platforms, such as Xbox One and PC, on September 16.
