Cyberpunk: Edgerunners gets an NSFW trailer and a release date

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is a forthcoming anime that takes two rad flavors, Studio Trigger and CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077, They combine them into a single 10-episode torrent of sensory overload. This is available to anyone who has a Netflix subscription. We now have a release date to give us plenty of time to get ready.

Live streaming on September 13, EdgerunnersIts arrival is announced with a new trailer that’s NSFW. Similar to previous trailers, it’s heavy on style, sensory overload and polite company.

Studio Trigger’s best work Edgerunners looks like an absolutely relentless assault, depicting a vision of CD Projekt Red’s troubled yet compelling action-RPG that’s as chaotic as it is stylistic. It looks like a show that’s about what happens when you’re Too Online, in a world where being online can result in your brains being blown out. I wouldn’t post nearly as much in a world like that.
