The Last Faith’s Latest Trailer Indulges In Pixelated Violence
Kumi Souls Games has been rather quiet on social media about its upcoming gothic-horror action game The Last Faith, but as part of the Future Games Show presentation, we were able to see how it’s shaping up. This footage features Eric, the Belmont-esque protagonist, as he destroys many beautifully drawn monsters and takes on a giant, salivating Hydra beast.
Castlevania and Dark souls games are heavily used in The Last Faith. It promises what appears to be an intense, violent adventure. Eric’s arsenal includes a stunning electrified knife, an electric haymaker punch, and a shotgun, which he uses to protect himself at mid-range. He also utilizes gruesome execution moves to take foes down for good; it’s strangely impressive how gross some details of these attacks come off in the pixel low-rez art.
Kumi Souls Games has been working hard on the 2D action-game following a successful Kickstarter campaign. Playstack acquired The Last Faith in 2020 for distribution. The final game is now being put together.
The Last Faith’s release date is unknown at this time. The trailer however confirms that the 2022 target for The Last Faith will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/S, PlayStation 4 Xbox One, Switch and PlayStation 5.
