One Year of Rust Console Edition. Let’s celebrate!

Rust Console EditionThis year marks the first anniversary of our game’s development. We would love to have everyone join us to mark this momentous occasion! This is an overview of the game’s evolution in its first year.

First, let me introduce you to the latest content update. The Deadly CatchThis update will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X.

It Catching a Deadly CatchUpdate will include new features such as fishing and a new aquatic vehicle.

This update will allow you to visit both Fishing Villages, large and small, scattered all over the map. You will find vending machines in which you can trade any fish caught for scrap. Scrap can then be used for blueprints and to build our aquatic vehicle, the Kayak. You also have the option to visit the docks to exchange it for a new boat. A brand new mini-game for fishing has been added to this update!

Offshore blowoutThe content update that introduced the Oil Rigs to the game was the one most requested. The update also included the Oil Rigs and multiple Grenade Launchers.

It also brought a challenging new activity that is suitable for everyone Rust players. It’s advised that you take some teammates to tackle this one, because the Oil Rig event is no walk in the park… Get to the top of any of the Oil Rigs and hack the code-locked crate inside the room. The process of getting the loot will take you 15 minutes. During that time you’ll have to protect yourself from the Scientist, who is heavily armed. It’s no easy task, but if you complete it, the rewards will be amazing.
