GhostWire Tokyo is one of the most anticipated horror titles of 2022. It’s incredibly elegant. Developer Tango Gameworks’ open-world environments are as ambitious as they are unsettling, as twisting hallways and shifting rooms give way to dreadful encounters with Yōkai – wayward spirits inspired by Japanese folklore. This episode of New Gameplay Today features Blake Hester and me sharing our impressions of GhostWire Tokyo’s second chapter. We’re accompanied by footage from my hands-on gameplay session, which I captured via PS5 performance mode.
