Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7 coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X in 2022
You can now enjoy advanced framerate support, ray tracing, 4K resolution and other cutting-edge visuals. Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3And Resident Evil 7 Versions for both the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. These games will be available later in 2022.
Capcom announced that players who already own any one of these three consoles on PS4 or Xbox One will receive a free upgrade within the same family. The PlayStation 5 versions will make use of the DualSense controller’s advanced haptic feedback. Owners of the game will be able to download a free patch that brings you similar upgrades for your PC.
Resident Evil 2The remake of 1998’s game, “The Game” was launched in January 2019 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. Resident Evil 3The remake of 1999’s name, the, was also launched on the same platforms, in April 2020. Both feature gigantic, unstoppable bad guys (Mr. X in RE2Nemesis RE3(), who created an entire cottage market for humorous substitution mods. Presumably, Thomas the Tank Engine and Animal Crossing’s Isabelle will look even more lifelikeWhen the PC patch comes out.
Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, launched in 2017, was the first feature-length release to use Capcom’s RE Engine (as did the two subsequent remakes). It’s also the first Resident Evil game to use a first-person player perspective.
Last year’s Resident Evil VillageThe engine and camera were also used for the game ‘8 in the main series, which spans 25 years. All four of the games launched since 2017 have been critical and commercial successes for Capcom, earning strong review scores and reaching Capcom’s in-house “platinum” status for selling more than 1 million copies.
